How to Unlock Your Passion

We spend so much time going through life and not living the life we are meant to be living.

If уоu соnсеntrаtе on your negative thоughtѕ, you would bесоmе a mаnіfеѕtаtіоn – a реrѕоnіfісаtіоn – оf whаt уоu train уоur fосuѕ оn.

If еvеrу thought that you have іѕ negative or lіmіtіng, thеn thеѕе thоughtѕ wіll manifest іn уоur lіfе іn a negative way. The rеѕult maybe you becoming a реѕѕіmіѕt or реrhарѕ a defeatist.

On the other hand, іf уоu рlаnt good and positive thoughts, eventually, you will get positive and fulfilling results.

Although there is no strict formula to live a life filled with passion, here are a few ways you can start unlocking your passion in life:

♠ Make it a priority – do not make your passion an option. Make it a priority. Most of us may not know what our passion is yet, but we know the things that make us happy, the things that make us curious, and these things never happen to bore us. Find those things and make them a priority. By default, you will be making yourself happy as well. Make time and find a schedule that works for you. Do not make excuses, do not postpone, do those things because if they are indeed things you love to do, you will find it a lot easier than you expect to accomplish them. After all, nobody wants to be the one with all that potential they never fully lived up to.

♠ Get clear on your values – it is essential to ask yourself what you value most. Is it your career, is it helping people, is it making a difference in the world? It is important to note that the values are not conjoined to opportunities; these will come later. Without this clarity, you may find yourself pursuing dead ends or focusing on external factors such as money or a fancy title. Write your values down to make it easy for you to make mindful choices.

♠ Ask “Why” – why did these things resonate with you? Why do your values feel great? When you focus on your feelings, you are more than likely going to do the things you love other than the things society considers to be “right.”

♠ What if money, personal self-limiting beliefs, or practicality were non-factors? Would you still love the same things you love now? It is easy to be swayed by opportunities, but the most fulfilling thing is doing something you love despite other external factors like fancy titles and money. Remember to be realistic. No matter how much you love something, some things may not be for you. It is essential to realize that passion comes from within, and if it doesn’t feel right, it probably isn’t.

“There is no passion for being found playing small — in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living.”— Nelson Mandela.

My message to you is that if you have a goal, and I’m sure you most likely do, devote your time to it. Don’t just daydream about it; work towards achieving it step by step, taking it one day at a time.

Make a plan, take daily action, and you will see results. Sooner or later, you will realize that the journey of making your dreams come true is real.

I am trying to say this:  If you have a goal, spend your time working towards achieving it.

This is only the beginning of finding your passion. I’m not saying that you should run away and join the circus; the truth is that your love will guide you just like your instinct does. Once you unlock it, life becomes more accessible.
